Anthony Mackie Says Eminem’s Legendary Bars In ‘8 Mile’ Final Battle Scene Was Literally About Him

The most striking revelation came when Mackie disclosed that Eminem’s fierce lyrics during their climactic battle were, in fact, directed at him personally. “I go to the casino the next day, and we’re shooting the battle scene, and that’s when I realized, you’re talking about me, you’re not talking about Clarence,” he explained.
