Catch a falling star! Jennifer Lawrence stumbles running to take cover from the rain at London fan screening of X-Men: Apocalypse in yet ANOTHER trip in front of the world’s cameras

Jennifer Lawrence has not yet mastered the art of a perfect red carpet moment.

The actress looked exquisite in a busty Dior frock when she arrived at London‘s X-Men: Apocalypse global fan screening on Monday night, but quickly marred her display with yet another fall on entry.

Luckily for Jennifer, 25, she landed on an aide’s shoulder as she broke into a run in a bid to avoid the rain outside the BFI IMAX, where her famous co-stars James McAvoy, Olivia Munn and Sophie Turner gathered for the event.

This isn’t the first time Jennifer has been seen to stumble at a public event: she’s almost become more known for her flustered footwork than for her stunning ensembles.

She made headlines back in November 2015 when she was caught on video camera falling up some steps at the Madrid premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.

With the world’s eyes watching, the took a dramatic tumble when the train of her one-of-a-kind black lace gown got caught in her Jimmy Choo heels, a calamity she frequently suffers.

Her other two notable falls came at two separate Oscars ceremonies, the most famous being her trip up the stairs at the 2013 Academy Awards to collect her Best Actress Oscar award for Silver Linings Playbook.

Jennifer got caught up in her voluminous Dior Haute Couture gown, and pictures of the star laying on the steps – in fits of giggles – went viral.

The following year at the Oscars, she fell to her knees while walking the red carpet, and was helped up by then-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.

Still, the good-humoured star is known for brushing off her embarrassing falls and laughing them off heartedly, and pokes fun at herself.

But she is also keen to address those who suggest her endearing clumsiness is all part of an act.

Following her second fall at the 2014 Oscars, she said – in reaction to what her critics say: ‘I know! I’m trying to do the right thing, waving to the fans, trying to be nice, and there’s a traffic cone.

‘The second I hit it, I was laughing, but on the inside I was like, ‘You’re f***ed. They’re totally going to think this is an act.’ If I were Jared Leto, I would completely agree,’ she told Marie Clarie.

‘But trust me, if I was going to plan it, I would have done it at the Golden Globes or the SAGs. I would have never done it at two Oscars in a row. I watch Homeland, I’m craftier than that!’

It looked like things were going so well for Jennifer on Monday, until she took a tumble on the blue stretch of carpet, in front of baiting fans and flashing cameras.

She had picked out a slinky dress that featured a keyhole detail on the chest and exposed her ample assets.

The dress, with its glamorous high neckline, also featured a backless aspect that was completed with a sexy criss-cross design.

The film follows critically acclaimed X-Men: Days Of Future Past, from director Bryan Singer, who returns with the latest hotly-anticipated film in the franchise.
