Exiled crown prince of Iran sends message to Trump as he considers bunker-buster strike (video)

In a moment of significant political upheaval in Iran, the exiled crown prince, Reza Pahlavi, has issued a bold message, urging international support as the Islamic Republic appears to be on the brink of collapse. Speaking recently in an exclusive interview, Pahlavi emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating that the regime’s control is waning rapidly, with increasing reports from military and intelligence sources indicating disarray within the ruling structure.

“As I speak to you, the regime has lost control and is retreating, much like a frightened rat hiding underground,” Pahlavi remarked. He expressed hope that the Iranian people would soon overcome the regime’s oppressive grip, despite the government’s attempts to stifle communication by cutting off internet access and landlines.

Pahlavi, who has lived in exile since the 1979 revolution that ousted his family from power, is advocating for a new future for Iran. He believes that the moment for change is now, as the citizens continue to rise against the regime, demonstrating extraordinary courage despite facing violent repression.

The crown prince’s comments come amid rising tensions, particularly regarding the United States’ military options against Iran. President Trump is reportedly considering a bunker-buster strike on the Fordo facility, suspected of housing a deep underground nuclear site. Pahlavi cautioned against such military action, suggesting that the Iranian people themselves are the most potent force for change. “The people are the ultimate factor. That’s what scares the regime the most,” he stated.

He urged the U.S. government to reconsider any military intervention, arguing that the regime’s imminent collapse could be hastened by allowing the Iranian populace to lead their own revolution. “Allow for the process of change at the hand of the people themselves,” Pahlavi implored, emphasizing that external military action might complicate the delicate dynamics currently unfolding in Iran.

In a hopeful tone, he highlighted that many within the military and intelligence sectors are expressing readiness to abandon the regime, signaling a potential shift in allegiance that could further empower the protestors. “There are personnel who are prepared to defect, ready to join with the people,” Pahlavi noted, suggesting that the internal fractures within the regime could lead to a more rapid change.

When questioned about his potential role in a transitional government, Pahlavi clarified that he does not seek power but would be willing to assist if called upon. “I think they are looking for me to play that role because of the trust I’ve built over the years,” he said, emphasizing that his focus remains on facilitating unity among Iranians rather than pursuing personal ambition.

As the situation in Iran continues to evolve, Pahlavi’s call for international solidarity and patience underscores a pivotal moment in the nation’s history. He urged the world to support the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom, asserting that the fall of the current regime would pave the way for a brighter future for all Iranians. “This is a historic opportunity to end not just the nuclear threats but the broader issues associated with this regime,” he concluded, leaving the door open for a hopeful and collaborative path forward.
