The promotion for the much-anticipated sequel to the 2014 dark fantasy film Maleficent is now in full swing.
And on Monday three of the leading ladies – Angelina Jolie, Michelle Pfeiffer and Elle fanning- in Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil took to the stage with their co-stars for a global press conference in Beverly Hills.
Always one to stun in the fashion department when she’s under the the bright lights of the spotlight, Jolie did not disappoint once again, decked out in a black and white full-length dress.
Jolie’s sleeveless number showcased her toned figure with a wrap-around design and a cinched-in waist.
Oozing elegance as it hung loosely off her body from the hips down, the eye-catching number also had a tinge of edginess due to its striking contrast between the black and white colors.
She also wore her dark brown tresses long, with some added volume, and a part on the slight right, allowing her to flip some of her hair over to the left.
Helping sell the ensemble, Jolie, 44, regularly flashed a big beaming smile, making it more than apparently she relished her time alongside her co-stars.
As usual, Fanning was all smiles during the event dressed in a blush-patterned top that was tucked into a dark brown high-waisted slacks.
The 21-year-old star added a thin leather belt to help give the ensemble a cinched-in look and wore her blonde locks long and straight and with a part in the middle.
Being a returnee from the first film, Fanning plays Princess Aurora, the only daughter of King Stefan and Queen Leah.
Also on the hand for the presser: co-stars Sam Riley, Harris Dickinson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ed Skrein and director Joachim Ronning.
Visibly excited about the notion of learning more about herself and her children, the Oscar-winning actress did admit the experience will likely be different for her because her kids are at varying stages and age in their lives.
‘It does make it easier,’ she said of the age gap.
‘I’m excited but maybe it’s also different,’ she said of Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, whom she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt.
‘It’s going to be different for different kids,’ she said before quickly turning her attention back to her oldest son.
‘Maddox was so ready and his choices were so detailed.’
