The latest Mercedes-Benz X-Class dual-cab 4×4 ute package from Pickup Design studios will make your eyes water.
Dubbed the X-Class EXY Extreme, this gnarly-looking off-roader turns the conservative Mercedes-Benz design on its head, delivering the kind of visual muscle usually associated with exotica – inside and out.
Available in Australia priced from around $49,000 – on top of the price of the ute but including labor – it is backed by the duration of the manufacturer’s warranty, so three years if the ute is new.
The EXY Extreme package features a Pedders suspension lift kit that jacks the vehicle by an extra 30mm, increasing visual oomph.
It also adds 18-inch alloy wheels shod with Black Bear mud-terrain or all-terrain off-road tires with a wider track to match the outrageous rubber/metal wheel-arch extensions. An aggressive front bumper section, along with a color-coded front bash plate, bonnet lip, power bulge, and headlight frames create more eye candy than a DJ Diplo mega-set while bringing extra aggression to the front-end.
The interior fit-out was created by Carlex Design, a Polish company best known for trimming up exotic and luxury cars, not to mention motor yachts.
