An Indiana nutjob viciously bit a newborn’s face to stop it from crying — and later allegedly told cops the 𝒾𝓃𝒻𝒶𝓃𝓉 looked like a “busted up egg” when he was done with it.
Authorities say Kaden Manuel Lewis Shurm, 18, began by “nibbling” on the 9-day-old baby’s cheek before repeatedly biting in a “chomping down” motion, according to FOX59.
Shrum, who tips the scales at a whopping 250 pounds, was arrested and charged with felony battery with injury to a person under 14.

A pediatrician first alerted 𝒸𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹 protective services to the 𝒾𝓃𝒻𝒶𝓃𝓉’𝓈 ℐ𝓃𝒿𝓊𝓇𝒾𝑒𝓈 on July 14, prompting a probe by the Bloomington Police Department, according to court documents obtained by The Post.
The brazen biter reportedly confessed that he bit the 𝒸𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹 to silence it at around 4 a.m. — initially “nibbling” before escalating until the newborn’s face resembled a “busted up egg.”
Shrum was arrested at the hospital; the baby’s current condition remains unknown.
It was not immediately clear if Shrum and the 𝒸𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹 had any relation.
The lunatic also faces felony charges in separate cases for battery with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness, as well as a misdemeanor battery charge.
Shrum briefly posted a $5,500 bond on the 𝒸𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹 𝒶𝒷𝓊𝓈𝑒 charge on July 21 before being re-arrested on a bond revocation warrant for the prior cases.
