According to Pennsylvania State Trooper Rocco Gagliardi, the couple’s conversation took a dark turn during their meeting at Mosher’s fatherās home in North Strabane Township. Initially discussing their relationship and college plans, the dialogue reportedly escalated, prompting Mosher to retrieve a large knife from the kitchen.
Allegedly, he returned to the car and stabbed Heintz in the chest as she fell from the vehicle. Following the attack, Mosher is said to have placed her body in the back hatch of the Jeep and sought help from his mother, Rachel Mosher, in Beallsville, Pennsylvania.
Authorities revealed that the two attempted to clean the car and dispose of evidence before driving to California Borough, where Heintzās family had grown concerned after she failed to return to her dorm. A wellness check led police to the abandoned vehicle, where they discovered her body.
