Oh my, what an amazing lady! Gal Gadot, at the age of 32, graces the cover of W Magazine for their May issue.
The former Miss Israel has landed a role in the upcoming film Wonder Woman, set to be released in June. In a recent magazine feature, she exudes elegance as she models various designer outfits including a chic Bottega Veneta taupe shirt and skirt, a figure-hugging Diane von Furstenberg dress, and a playful ’70s-inspired Prada dress.
Hinting at her patriotic character, she sports a red, white, and blue Gucci cardigan jacket over an Hermès swimsuit. Despite her grace and undeniable star quality, Gal revealed that originally, she had no plans to pursue acting and was persuaded to give it a try.
Following her victory in the Miss Israel pageant in 2004, she dedicated two years to serving in Israel’s IDF before embarking on her studies in law. It was during this time that she was approached for an audition to become a Bond girl, leading her down the path to her current acting career.
Unwilling: Despite not having any interest in pursuing an acting career, she was focused on studying law after serving in the IDF. It was only by chance that she was asked to audition for the role of a Bond girl.
In 2016, Wonder Woman made her first on-screen appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. At first, the role was offered to her, but she initially rejected it, citing her focus on law and international relations. Despite missing out on that part, she landed a role in Fast & Furious and decided to pursue modeling full-time, putting her academic pursuits on hold. Last year, she finally took on the iconic role of Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, receiving mixed reactions due to her stunning appearance.
Can you believe it? Gal revealed that some comic book fans were disappointed with her casting because they felt her breast size wasn’t in line with the character’s.
Bust enhancement: While working on set, she was expecting a baby and often arrived with headaches.
Regarding her time in the movie industry, she missed out on being a Bond girl but did land a role in the Fast & Furious franchise. Her smaller chest size was cited as a reason for not being chosen as a Bond girl, which drew attention to the importance placed on physical attributes in the entertainment industry. Interestingly, her chest size may have increased while filming the original ensemble film as she was pregnant during production. She revealed that she discovered her pregnancy while working on Justice League and experienced severe migraines on set. Despite showing up in dark glasses, her symptoms were mistaken for Hollywood diva behavior when, in fact, she was just pregnant. She now has two daughters, Alma, who is five years old, and newborn Maya, with her husband Yaron Varsano, a real estate developer.
