Trump dismisses Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris, says he likes Brittany Mahomes ‘much better’ anyway

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday casually dismissed Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris — saying he much prefers Brittany Mahomes anyway.

Trump, 78, gushed over the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes when asked in an early morning TV interview about Swift, 34, revealing she would be voting for his Democratic rival.

“I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better, if you want to know the truth. She’s a big Trump fan,” the Republican nominee told Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” when asked about Swift’s endorsement.

Taylor Swift publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in an Instagram post.

“She’s a big, she’s a big MAGA fan. Much better than Taylor Swift.”

It comes after Mahomes recently made headlines for liking one of Trump’s Instagram posts that outlined his “2024 GOP Platform.”

She later slammed her “haters” after her like sparked widespread backlash from those who took it as an endorsement of Trump.

Trump, meanwhile, said he wasn’t surprised by Swift’s lack of support for him, saying “she’s a very liberal person.”

“She seems to always endorse a Democrat and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace,” he said.

Swift took to Instagram immediately after the debate to laud the VP.

“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” she wrote, adding that Harris was “a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”
