To many this has gotten out of control

There is no question that Dylan Raiola is one of the most talented young quarterbacks in the nation, as the Nebraska Cornhuskers leader has shown his talent. However the imitations he has done of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been disturbing to many.

The way he has his hair, how he wears that bandana and also the pregame rituals, it’s all Mahomes and people are starting to get tired of it. In his most recent act, he moves his hands asking the fans to show their support and then high jumped like Patrick Mahomes does.

Fans and followers of college football have shimmed in on the topic and they are saying that enough is enough as there is no clear way to make him understand to stop, even after some support.

Patrick Mahomes is ‘ok’ with it

In a recent press conference, Patrick Mahomes was asked about this and he said that it was something that seems to be familiar to him. But let’s not kid ourselves, it was not like that.

“It’s cool, honestly,” Mahomes said of Raiola’s imitation. “I was that guy. I grew up watching players. I remember when I would grow up, I loved Alex Rodriguez playing shortstop and I tried to make plays just like him and do stuff like that, and it helped me become the athlete that I am.”

That was a huge thing for Dylan but the fans have had enough and they are now thinking that he might have an identity crisis or that he is just obsessed with Mahomes, in a bad way.
