J.Lo is looking to buy a mansion next to her ex-beau Diddy’s after Ben Affleck split

Jennifer Lopez is on the hunt for a new home following her recent split from Ben Affleck, and she’s reportedly zeroing in on one of LA’s most tony properties. What’s more, It’s a home right next to another one of her exes: Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Lopez, who dated Combs from 1999 to 2001, is eyeing the lavish Azria Estate in Holmby Hills, but snagging it won’t be a straightforward affair.

Sources tell TMZ that Lopez is deep in negotiations to buy the sprawling 30,000-square-foot mansion. It borders Combs’ own spread, which hit the market this week for $61 million — and other famous neighbors include Tom Ford, Sean Parker and Jimmy Iovine.

The Azria Estate, originally listed for $85 million, has been the center of a heated legal battle, but Lopez is looking to close a deal for a steal — hoping to land it somewhere between $30 million and $39 million. It currently asks $55 million.

The Azria Estate, once home to late BCBG fashion mogul Max Azria, boasts 14 bedrooms spread across 3 acres.

The jaw-dropping property features everything from manicured gardens and a luxurious infinity pool to a guest house and an in-home theater. It also features a game room and a sauna too.

However, things are complicated.

The estate was put on the auction block earlier this year, with billionaire investor Ron Burkle swooping in with a winning $30 million bid. But that deal hit a snag, with Burkle now locked in a lawsuit against Azria’s widow, Lubov Azria, over an alleged contract breach.

Despite the messy legal drama, Lopez started showing renewed interest in the property last month, and insiders told the outlet she’s been taking multiple tours of the estate in recent weeks.

She’s now negotiating with both Burkle and Lubov Azria in hopes of cutting a deal.

Lopez is trying to lower the price to between $30 million and $39 million, but the purchase is complicated by a legal dispute.

If Lopez pulls this off at the price she’s targeting, it would be a massive bargain.

The estate first hit the market in 2021 with that eye-popping $85 million price tag, making it one of LA’s priciest properties at the time.

Designed by famed architect Paul R. Williams, the estate merges old Hollywood charm with modern luxury. Williams, who was the first black member of the American Institute of Architects, built grand homes for stars like Lucille Ball and Tyrone Power, and his work on the Azria Estate is a true standout.

The estate’s listing description paints a glamorous picture, calling it a “timeless experience” with “colonial architecture” paired with state-of-the-art amenities.

Billionaire Ron Burkle previously won an auction for the property at $30 million, but is now in a lawsuit with Max Azria’s widow, Lubov. Lopez has shown increased interest in the estate since August and is negotiating with both parties.

Security is tight, with a gated driveway leading up to the mansion. The property’s lush grounds feature rolling lawns, mature trees, a tennis court and even a greenhouse for growing produce.

Lopez isn’t entirely new to the home, either.

It was used as a filming location for her movie “Atlas,” and she and Affleck previously checked it out while house-hunting earlier this year.

The estate has connections to her film “Atlas” and is next to Diddy’s property, with other celebrity neighbors nearby.

Branden and Rayni Williams of The Beverly Hills Estates are handling the listing.
