HMS Queen Elizabeth (R08) is the flagship of the Queen Elizabeth class of aircraft carriers operated by the Royal Navy of the United Kingdom. The ship is named after Queen Elizabeth I and was commissioned in 2017.

As an aircraft carrier, HMS Queen Elizabeth is designed to provide naval power and support a wide range of military operations. It is 280 metres (920 ft) long and has an approximate displacement of 65,000 tonnes. The carrier can carry up to 40 aircraft, including F-35B Lightning II fighters, as well as helicopters.
