Watch Imagine Dragons Covering Eminem’s “Lose Yourself”

One of the world’s most successful pop rock bands, Imagine Dragons, delivered a powerful performance at their annual Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF) Gala, an event dedicated to supporting families affected by paediatric cancer.

Held at Wynn Las Vegas on September 20, 2024, the Grammy Award-winning band called it their “most important concert of the year”, raising significant funds for the cause.

The highlight of the night came when a generous donor in the audience made an unexpected offer: $25,000 if the band performed Eminem’s iconic “Lose Yourself.” Despite never performing the song before, lead singer Dan Reynolds didn’t hesitate.

“Lose Yourself”? Oh, you have $25,000? Well, we’ve got to try! Don’t we?! We’ve never done this but for $25,000? Pediatric cancer? Let me untuck my shirt for this. I just want to be clear that we have never done this. But it’s $25,000. Oh, jeez, that’s a lot of lyrics.

And Reynolds launched into the surprise performance, handling all those lyrics pretty well.

The spontaneous moment was a hit with the crowd, and the band’s performance of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” became one of the most talked-about moments of the night.

Imagine Dragons’ continued dedication to this cause reflects not just their love for their hometown but their commitment to making a difference in the lives of families battling paediatric cancer. And on this night, with the help of Eminem’s music, they managed to do just that.
