Eminem’s daughter Hailie has said her dad’s track ‘Somebody Save Me’ – in which he apologises to his children – makes her cry, so who are his other kids with Kim Scott?
Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade Scott has been getting emotional with her dad’s new music.
In a recent episode of her Just a Little Shady podcast, the 28-year-old – whom the rapper shares with his ex-wife Kim Scott – said some of the songs from her dad’s album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), made her tear up.
“I watched it in [its] entirety and I don’t think I can do it again,” she said, referring to the music video for the track, “Somebody Save Me”, starring Jelly Roll. “I definitely cry every time I hear it at all,” she added. “And actually, Brittany [Ednie, her co-host] put the little commercial snippet on today and I was like, ‘Can you turn that down? Like, are you trying to make me cry?’”
According to People, “Somebody Save Me” covers the Grammy-winning singer’s battles with addictions, serving as a heartfelt apology to his three children, Hailie Jade, Alaina and Stevie Scott.
While we know plenty about his daughter, Hailie, who is often referenced in his music, less is known about his other two children, whom he also shares with Kim Scott. Here’s what you need to know:
Eminem adopted Alaina Marie Scott and Stevie Laine Scott
Eminem adopted both Alaina Marie Scott and Stevie Laine Scott. Alaina, 31, is the daughter of Kim’s twin sister, Dawn Scott, per Business Insider. People reported that Eminem legally adopted Alaina in the early 2000s, as Dawn struggled with substance abuse and died in 2016. “My niece has been a part of my life ever since she was born,” he told Rolling Stone of Alaina in 2004. “Me and Kim pretty much had her, she’d live with us wherever we was at.”
Meanwhile, Eminem’s youngest, 22-year-old Stevie Mathers, was adopted by the rapper in 2005 after he reconciled with his ex, notes The Independent. Kim Scott is Stevie’s biological mother, while the biological father, Eric Hartter, died of an alleged drug overdose in 2019, per the same source.

Eminem is a proud father
Eminem may be one of the most successful rappers of all time, but the 51-year-old still considers fatherhood his greatest achievement.
“When I think about my accomplishments, that’s probably the thing I’m the most proud of is being able to raise kids,” he said on an episode of the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast in 2020. “It’s important to keep your kids grounded when they’re in a situation like I have, it’s very important. People also think, too, that money just buys happiness – that absolutely is not the truth. You’ve got to be right inside otherwise none of this s*** means nothing.”
