Quando Rondo Gang Home RAIDED By FEDS & POLICE In GA, CONFIDENTIAL INFORMANT Involved “49 COUNTS &..

In a major law enforcement operation, rapper Quando Rondo, along with 18 others, has been indicted on multiple charges linked to gang activity and drug trafficking. The indictment, which includes 49 counts, stems from an ongoing investigation into the notorious Rolling 60s gang, of which Rondo has been described as a manager by the Chatham County District Attorney.

Exclusive footage from WJCL 22 News captured a raid executed by a collaborative force of local police, the Chatham County Narcotics Team, and federal agents from the FBI and Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) on a home in Savannah, Georgia. This particular raid was part of a broader operation that targeted five locations in Chatham County in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The law enforcement officials were reportedly seeking evidence of violent gang activities associated with the Rolling 60s, which has been implicated in illegal drug sales. The indictment against Quando Rondo, whose real name is Ty Queen Terrell Bowman, includes charges of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act and illegal use of communication facilities. Additionally, Rondo has been accused of traveling to Macon, Georgia, to negotiate drug deals on behalf of the gang.

During the Reynolds Street raid, two individuals were taken into custody, contributing to the total of 19 people indicted by the grand jury. Residents of the home reported being awakened by law enforcement officers who threatened to force their way in. They claimed that no one in the residence was affiliated with a gang and stated that any firearms found were legally owned.

At the conclusion of the search, agents were seen removing boxes filled with envelopes and documents, which authorities indicated were crucial to the ongoing investigation into several street gangs, including the Rolling 60s. The nature of the evidence seized remains undisclosed, but law enforcement anticipates providing further details during a scheduled press conference next week.

The indictment against Rondo has generated significant media attention, particularly given his status as a prominent figure in the rap industry. He has been in custody at the Chatham County Jail since June 16, where he awaits a bond hearing scheduled for Friday. The lengthy indictment includes charges dating back to October 2022 and highlights the collaboration between federal and local law enforcement agencies in tackling gang-related crime.

As the investigation unfolds, it underscores the serious implications of gang involvement and drug trafficking, particularly in communities already grappling with violence and crime. Law enforcement officials have emphasized their commitment to dismantling organized crime in the region, marking this operation as a significant step in that effort.

Rondo’s case is not isolated, as three other individuals, Tremaine Grant, Samuel Usman, and Angelo McNair, were also arrested during the operation and face charges related to fentanyl trafficking and the illegal use of communication facilities. Grant has been identified as a leader within the Rolling 60s gang and is accused of selling marijuana to a confidential informant while orchestrating drug transactions.

As the legal proceedings progress, the focus remains on the implications of gang violence and the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in Georgia. Law enforcement agencies are poised to deliver more information in the coming days, as they continue to pursue justice against those involved in these criminal enterprises.
