Rapper Yella Beezy Hired Hitman to Kill Rapper Mo3: Police (video)

In a shocking development, Dallas rapper Yella Beezy has been implicated in the murder of fellow artist Mo3, who was fatally shot on a busy Texas highway nearly five years ago. Law enforcement officials recently arrested Beezy, whose real name is Maris Conway, accusing him of orchestrating the ambush that led to Mo3’s death.

Mo3, born Melvin Noble, was gunned down on November 11, 2020, while driving on Interstate 35 in Dallas. The incident occurred in broad daylight, drawing significant public attention due to its brazen nature. Witnesses reported that a masked gunman approached Mo3’s vehicle, prompting him to flee on foot. Tragically, he was shot multiple times during the attack, ultimately succumbing to his injuries. A bystander in a nearby vehicle was also struck but survived.

In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, police arrested Kiwan White, a 22-year-old believed to have carried out the murder. White was later charged with murder and is currently serving a nine-year sentence for a related firearm charge. His indictment, however, left the murder charge open, leading investigators to continue their pursuit of justice.

Five months after Mo3’s death, another suspect, Devon Maurice Brown, was indicted for his alleged involvement. Brown reportedly attempted to contact witnesses to locate Mo3 before the shooting, raising suspicions about his role in the case. Nonetheless, at that time, Yella Beezy was not charged or publicly linked to the murder.

Fast forward to last week, authorities revealed that Beezy had allegedly paid White to execute the attack on Mo3, reigniting public interest in the long-gestating feud between the two rappers. Reports indicate that tensions between Mo3 and Beezy had escalated in the months leading up to the murder, fueled by diss tracks and personal conflicts.

The roots of their rivalry can be traced back to earlier incidents, including the shooting of Mo3’s friend Roy Lee in 2018, which was reportedly connected to disputes involving Beezy. Following Lee’s death, both artists engaged in a series of public taunts and diss tracks, further complicating their relationship. The feud culminated in Mo3’s murder, sparking rampant speculation regarding the motivations behind the violence.

Beezy now faces capital murder charges, which carry severe potential penalties, including life in prison without parole or even the death penalty. His arrest marks a significant turn in a case that has lingered in the shadows of Dallas rap culture for years.

Legal experts have noted that the case’s lengthy timeline reflects the complexities of homicide investigations, where there is no statute of limitations. Authorities have taken their time to build a robust case against Beezy, ensuring they gather sufficient evidence before proceeding with charges.

Following his arrest, Yella Beezy remains in the Dallas County Jail with a bond set at $2 million. The next steps in the judicial process will involve pre-litigation negotiations, potential bond hearings, and possibly a trial. Experts suggest that the case may hinge on the testimonies of other suspects, as plea deals could incentivize them to cooperate with prosecutors.

As the legal proceedings unfold, the implications of this case extend beyond the courtroom, reflecting the ongoing struggles within the rap community and the tragic consequences of violence fueled by rivalry. The public and fans alike will be watching closely as the story continues to develop, raising questions about accountability and the lasting impact of personal conflicts in the world of music.
