The director of the CIA was on a plane heading to Moscow, and the mission was so secret that even his own country wouldn’t confirm it publicly. John Ratliff’s unannounced visit on August 25th came at the lowest point in U. S. -Russia relations since Trump took office.

Witnesses on the ground even captured footage of it touching down. Ratliff was inside.
