Lamborghini will team up with boatbuilder Italian Sea Group to create the hybrid car, which will feature the special stretch ‘carbon skin’ found in the company’s supercars.

The yacht’s steering wheel, seats, and helm will be made of the material, and it will also feature Lamborghini’s signature start/stop button function found in its Huracan and Aventador sports cars. The steering wheel and gauges are even intended to resemble the cockpit of a Lamborghini vehicle.

The Lamborghini 63 superboat measures 63 feet in length and weighs in at 24 tons, putting it in the ultra-lightweight boat classification. Each yacht comes with two V12, 2,000-horsepower engines that can reach up to 60 knots, roughly 70 mph.

‘This yacht represents the significance of creating a valuable partnership, at its best: our co-operation allows the essence of both organizations’ style and expertise to be transferred to different worlds, sharing in their diversity to interpret and add value to the final product in a new environment,’ said Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. If I had to imagine a Lamborghini on water, this would be my vision. I’m delighted to celebrate this successful collaboration.’

The yachts are projected to go on sale in 2021.
