‘It feels different!’ Angelina Jolie dishes on marriage to Brad Pitt and admits to being ‘open’ to a career in politics as she covers Vanity Fair

She has found a new purpose through her humanitarian work.

And now, Angelina Jolie has revealed, she is ‘open’ to making that passion into a career in politics.

But Angelina, who stars on Vanity Fair’s December cover, told the magazine she believes her Hollywood career may hinder the possibility of seeking an elected or appointed office.

‘When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered. Because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility,’ the Maleficent star said.

‘But I honestly don’t know in what role I would be more useful— I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that [could] make it less possible.’

Besides her wildly successful acting career, Angelina is known for her extensive humanitarian efforts and as a prominent United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.

After being pressed further if she’d pursue a life in politics, the mother of six relented by saying, ‘I am open.’

And she revealed being married ‘does feel different’, admitting ‘it feels nice to be husband and wife’.

The A-list star wed her longtime partner in a surprise ceremony at their French estate on August 23 and had their brood of children write the wedding vows.

‘They did not expect us never to fight, but they made us promise to always say, “Sorry,” if we do. So they said, “Do you?,” and we said, “We do!,”‘ the Oscar winning actress recounted.

And she’s now prepping to do double duty directing and starring opposite her husband in By The Sea.

This will be the newly married couple’s first collaboration since the 2005 film that brought them together, Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

And while she’s excited about the upcoming romantic drama, Angelina also know it comes with the potential for much scrutiny.
