Actor and celebrity Dwayne Johnson is facing a major $3 billion lawsuit alleging kidnapping.
Dwayne Douglas Johnson has become one of the most recognizable figures in all of Hollywood. The popular star got his start in the WWF (now WWE) under the name “The Rock” as a third-generation wrestler and the son of the great Rocky Johnson. Dwayne The Rock Johnson would go on to have a successful wrestling career and make his way into Hollywood, paving the way for wrestlers like Dave Bautista and John Cena to also transition into acting in the future.

As he transitioned into acting, Dwayne Johnson quickly became a renowned star, making millions of dollars as a result. Johnson has starred in countless blockbusters, including The Mummy Returns, in 2001 alongside the likes of Brendan Fraser before reprising his role from the franchise in 2002’s The Scorpion King, as well as others like the Fast & Furious franchise, Disney’s Jungle Cruise (2021), Moana (2016), the Jumanji franchise alongside good friend Kevin Hart, San Andreas (2015), and most recently, Black Adam (2022).
Last month, Johnson announced that he’d be returning to reprise his role as Maui in a live-action version of Moana for Disney. The announcement was met with some criticism, but the expectation is that filming will begin later this fall and that Johnson will be a major part of not just acting in the movie but helping produce it. Former TNA and WWE wrestler Trenesha Biggers, who went by the ring name Rhaka Khan, recently filed the court documents necessary to move forward with a $3 billion lawsuit that names Dwayne Johnson as one of the defendants in an alleged kidnapping, which Inside the Magic covered previously. Biggers claims that Johnson and his business partner, Dany Garcia, made plans to abduct her and her children in 2008.
Biggers alleges that Johnson and Garcia sent three men who forcibly removed her from her house in Tampa, Florida. She claims she was taken to a hotel in Miami, Florida and abused both physically and mentally while being confined there. She alleges that both Johnson and Garcia threatened to harm her if she did not obey their demands. Some other defendants named in the lawsuit are, The State of Texas, The El Paso Child Protective Services, The Las Cruces, New Mexico Police Department, The NYPD, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, New York ACS, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Shirley Police Department, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Suffolk County NY, Bank of America, Home Depot, and even the FBI.
In the most recent development, Johnson and Garcia’s council released a statement where they “categorically deny any involvement in the alleged incident,” adding that they “look forward to clearing their names in court.”

Another report, shared by Disney Dining, reminded readers that these are accusations and that nothing has been proven legally.
“Dwayne Johnson [is a] target of serious allegations that necessitate a comprehensive investigation. It’s crucial to keep in mind that they are merely accusations, and both sides have the right to produce their supporting documentation in a court of law. Even while the truth might not surface right away, it’s critical that we continue to pursue justice and responsibility.”
A court date has yet to be announced, and no other statements have been issued at this time. Until the complaint makes it to court or is settled outside of court, we likely won’t hear any more updates as legal councils will begin to prepare their arguments.
