This wild coyote apparently just wanted to run with the pack.
A coyote was caught on camera frolicking with dogs at a Los Angeles park — chasing its new canine companions around the grass instead of living up to its fearsome urban reputation.

The remarkable footage, posted to Instagram by LA-based dog training company Obedient Trails, starts with a large white dog bounding after the coyote through the park.
But the unlikely pair soon slow things down and casually walk alongside one another, with neither appearing particularly bothered by their unusual new playmate.

The coyote then turns its attention to a golden-brown dog and takes off after it across the grass in an apparent game of chase.
All three animals then regroup before the wild visitor again playfully pursues the golden canine.
The clip ends with the coyote and the large white dog standing face-to-face and cautiously investigating each other.
The wild encounter has delighted Instagram, racking up more than 135,000 likes and 2,200 comments.
“It’s a canine. So technically….” one commenter joked.
“Looks like I found a free poppy at the dog park!” another wrote, while someone else quipped: “Evolving to a couch near you.”
“This has Disney movie written all over it,” another view declared.
“His a— wants to be domesticated so bad,” one joked.
