A drunk driver who killed a bride on her wedding night and is now serving 25 years in prison was caught on newly released police footage crying, cursing, and begging to call her father during her arrest.
Jamie Lee Komoroski, 27, repeatedly asked officers why she was being taken into custody and claimed they had no proof of what she did.
The video obtained by Live 5 News shows Komoroski at the crash scene in Folly Beach, South Carolina, and later inside the police station.
On April 28, 2023, she slammed her Toyota into a golf cart carrying newlyweds Samantha Miller and Aric Hutchinson.
At the station, Komoroski broke down, saying, “I just want to go home,” while demanding her right to call her dad.
An officer refused the request, and she continued arguing, insisting, “Nobody has any proof of anything I did.”
At one point, she seemed to mock herself, saying, “I’m just being a little baby.”
Dashcam footage from the roadside shows the chaotic moments after the crash, with Komoroski asking if Miller was okay.
She initially told officers she had one beer and a tequila drink, refusing a breath test.
Authorities got a warrant for her blood, which later showed a blood-alcohol level of 0.261 percent, over three times South Carolina’s legal limit.
Komoroski was driving 65 mph in a 25 mph zone when she rear-ended the golf cart, hurling it about 100 yards.
Miller, still in her wedding dress, died at the scene, while Hutchinson suffered a brain injury and broken bones.
Komoroski pleaded guilty in December 2024 and was sentenced to 25 years.
Hutchinson has said losing his wife has left him struggling to find joy, recalling that Miller told him she wanted their wedding night “to never end.”
The newly released footage follows earlier jailhouse calls where Komoroski spoke about being “two years down the road” and “living your best life” while awaiting trial.
