This is the £16,000-a-week London mansion where songstress Rihanna has been secretly living for a year.
The superstar sent her fans wild yesterday when she casually revealed in an interview that she’s made Britain her home for the past 12 months.
Now MailOnline can reveal the Umbrella singer has been staying in a stunning, seven bedroom mansion, worth £30million, in one of the capital’s most exclusive enclaves.
The townhouse the singer calls home comes complete with a gym, stunning landscape garden, underfloor heating and plenty of off-street parking.
A source close to the star told MailOnline: ‘The house has everything Rihanna needs. It has seven bedrooms for her team. It’s in a very exclusive area with some very wealthy neighbours so she can come and go as she pleases and nobody really takes any notice.
‘She’s been there for a year, but has enjoyed living there so much it looks like she’ll be there for longer,’ they added.
Rihanna – who is dating Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel – said in a recent interview that she is loving living in London with the anonymity that living in a big city brings – and had been ‘keeping a little incognito’.
She told the New York Times: ‘I enjoy walking around the block. When I go walking, I try to keep a little incognito.’
The singer – who is worth an estimated $260 million – has revealed she has learned to enjoy the simply things in life, such as satisfying her cravings for Caribbean food.
‘The world can really make you believe that the wrong things are priority and it makes you really miss the core of life, what it means to be alive. Like going to the grocery store – you know, there’s a cute little Jamaican market near where I live right now,’ she said.
However, with five bathrooms and two studies to choose from and with staff, including security guards and a housekeeper on hand, her London lifestyle is certainly out of the ordinary.
The exquisite four-storey property opens out on to manicured lawns in the landscaped gardens. It has an open plan kitchen, a reception room and family room.
And the RnB star has offered a glimpse into London-life through photos and videos she has shared from her house on Instagram.
In one clip the star is filmed making ice cream deserts with friends in the distinctive kitchen with a white marble worktop and stainless steel kitchen sink.
And in another she does her make-up in one of the bedrooms that has a unique pattern.
Rhianna’s revelation that she’s moved to the UK whipped her fans up into a frenzy of excitement – as many joined the dots that she’d shared a selfie, taken inside the house, which featured a Sainsbury’s ‘bag for life’.
One fan wrote: ‘I honestly never thought I would see Rihanna next to a Sainsbury’s bag.’
Another added: ‘Rihanna owning a Sainsbury’s bag for life. She is truly one of the people.’
One tweeted: ‘I knew it! That’s why there was a Sainsbury’s bag for life in the back of that pic she posted! Can you imagine Rihanna at the self check out in Sainsbury’s.’
Another wrote: ‘SHOOK SHOOK SHOOK. The True Queen of England.’
‘Wait. Rihanna lives in London???’ another typed.
Another said: ‘HELL F**KING YES. I suggest a hunt for our Queen and a march to return her to her throne at Buckingham Palace.’
‘Rihanna lives in London?? I didn’t know I was this close to the queen. I’ve breathed the same London air as her! OMG!’ squeaked another.
The singer was in Paris today as she unveiled her debut collection as the first black woman to head up a major Paris fashion house.
She confirmed her groundbreaking deal with LVMH, the world’s largest luxury group, earlier this month.
Unveiling her first fashion designs for Fenty at a pop-up store in Paris, she said: ‘This is a moment in history. It’s a big deal for me and my entire generation.
‘I often walk into stores and I’m like, ‘I love this, but I wish it was more like that, or in a different colour or in a different fabric’ – and now I get to do it. I love strong silhouettes, and for women to look confident, that’s what I want to achieve with this collection.’
She confirmed the brand will be based in Paris, like it’s parent company, with items available online.
