The musician, who is best known for the songs Clarity and The Middle, bought a 18,000 square foot home that sits on 40,075 square feet of property.
The 34-year-old artist’s $18.4 million purchase of the mega mansion was the most expensive sale in Encino in 2023, according to TMZ.
The main residence has eight bedrooms and 11 full bathrooms and one half bath; the guest house has one bedroom and one bathroom.
The home was on the market for $22,166,800 and sold for $18,400,000 million.
The mansion features a number of luxurious amenities, including an Olympic-sized pool, as well as a plunge pool.
Theres also a home theater, a bowling alley, a sports court, a library and a sauna.
The property has a steam room and a commercial sized indoor/outdoor wellness spa with a fitness area as well, per The New York Post.
The mansion was designed by Jae Omar and built by JVE Development; Jae nicknamed the property Odin; Eran Gispan was the principal architect for the home.
In September, Jae told the New York Post why the property is called Odin: ‘The symbol of Odin, and all that it represents as the Norse God of strength and wisdom, underpins the materials and methods found throughout.’
He said that the home has ‘knotty oak, rustic stones, aromatic cedar’ – all to represent the ‘Scandinavian region and its history, per the outlet.
There are ‘meditative’ water features, ‘stone-front fireplaces, floating staircases, angled wooden room dividers’ – which he said are the ‘core elements,’ according to the New York Post.
The property was designed by Jae with Scandinavian and Japanese style.
The home also has room for seven cars in its dual garages and motor court, as well as a high-grade security system, per the outlet.
The home features plentiful space, with inside/outside space, perfect for Southern California weather.
The kitchen has white and gray hued tabletops and accent wall that includes open-air shelves.
The home has wooden accent walls separating the spaces, with matching flooring.
It utilizes natural light through large floor-to-ceiling windows throughout.
Another beautiful detail includes the clear glass used to not interrupt the flow of the space for open elements of the home.
The dining room has two statement black chandeliers, that serves as a pop of color in the neutral hued home.
