Paris Fury reveals very unique name of 7th child as Tyson explains why they chose it

Paris and Tyson Fury welcomed their newborn son last month but waited two weeks to share the tot’s name

Paris Fury has announced her seventh child’s unique name and confirmed the meaning behind it. The 33-year-old, who is married to champion boxer Tyson Fury, welcomed their adorable baby boy at 2.29am on September 18.

Paris has now revealed they decided to call their baby Prince Rico Paris Fury – but he is affectionately known as Rico reports OK!. His middle name, Rico, is a tribute to Tyson’s late cousin Rico Burton, who was murdered last year, while Paris is a nod to his mum.

Since Tyson married his childhood sweetheart Paris in 2008, the couple have welcomed a huge brood of kids. The eldest is their daughter Venezuela. They also share daughters Valencia and Athena, plus their sons Prince John James, Prince Tyson II and Prince Adonis Amaziah, who all appeared on their Netflix show At Home With The Furys.

All four of the couple’s sons share the same first name and Tyson previously revealed it was because he’s a ‘king’ and his sons are all ‘princes’. Speaking to OK!, Paris explained their decision to name him Prince Rico.

She explained: “All of my kids have got unusual names and obviously it’s also really personal to Tyson. We also added my name because I’ve had seven kids and I still haven’t had one named after me, so Tyson thought, ‘Come on, it’s about time!’”

Tyson wasn’t able to be there for the birth as he was ‘fully immersed in training at camp’. However, he made sure to be there until a few hours before Rico was born.

Thankfully, her mum was by her side to support her. She continued: “It was just a relief when he arrived and you can hear the crying. You just have an instant connection to your baby, I don’t know where it comes from.”

Paris announced the birth of baby Prince Rico during an Instagram post last week. Sharing a photo of holding her new-born standing beside Tyson, she penned: “Can’t believe he’s here.”

Tyson and Paris kept her pregnancy a secret until earlier this year when Tyson posted a picture of his wife with the caption: “I get to do date night with my beautiful pregnant wife Paris, Gods is great. Seventh baby incoming, fantastic news to cheer me up.”
