Jennie Garth Tearfully Thanks Ex Husband Peter Facinelli for Taking Her in During LA Fires (video)

In a heartfelt display of gratitude, actress Jennie Garth took to Instagram on January 9th to thank her ex-husband, Peter Facinelli, for opening his home to her and her family during the recent devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. The fires, which began on January 7th, have ravaged over 20,000 acres and destroyed more than 9,000 structures, leaving many residents in distress.

In her post, Garth expressed her relief that her family was safe and their home had withstood the flames. “We are feeling so blessed and so fortunate and so lucky,” she wrote, sharing that she, her three daughters—Luca, Lola, and Fiona—and her current husband, Dave Adams, sought refuge in Facinelli’s home. The couple, who were married for 12 years before divorcing in 2013, continue to demonstrate a strong co-parenting relationship, particularly during difficult times.

Garth’s gratitude extended beyond mere words, as she acknowledged Facinelli’s generosity in accommodating her family, including their pets. “I am so grateful for Peter for letting us stay at his house, me and all the girls and the dogs and Dave,” she added. Despite the challenges posed by the fires, Garth highlighted the importance of community, stating, “I am deeply saddened for our city and just feel numb. Our home was spared, but there is so much to clean up.”

The actress also praised her husband, Dave Adams, for his support during the crisis, noting his efforts in transporting their belongings. As she reflects on the situation, Garth emphasized the need to keep those affected by the fires in their hearts and prayers, showcasing a commitment to helping neighbors and fellow Angelenos in need.

Facinelli, known for his role in the “Twilight” series and as a loving father, has maintained a close connection with Garth, emphasizing their dedication to co-parenting. In a 2022 interview on “Live with Kelly,” he remarked, “She’ll always be in my life,” underscoring the enduring bond they share despite having moved on to new relationships.

As the community grapples with the aftermath of the wildfires, Garth’s message of gratitude and resilience serves as a reminder of the strength found in familial ties and the importance of supporting one another in times of crisis.
