Everything Gal Gadot Ate to Become Wonder Woman!

Gal Gadot, the iconic actress known for her portrayal of Wonder Woman, underwent a rigorous yet balanced nutritional regimen to prepare for her role in “Wonder Woman 1984.” Magnus, her trainer with over 20 years of experience, shared insights into the dietary guidelines that shaped Gadot’s transformation into the superheroine.

Emphasizing the importance of nutrition over extreme diets or quick fixes, Magnus explained that maintaining a healthy relationship with food is crucial. He structured Gadot’s diet around the concept of enjoying life while still adhering to nutritional goals. The plan centered on consuming five meals a day, with a focus on ensuring that 17 out of every 20 meals were nutritionally sound.

Each day, Gadot aimed for approximately 100 grams of protein, 200 to 240 grams of slow carbohydrates, and 80 to 90 grams of healthy fats. Her typical meal schedule included a breakfast of eggs paired with slow carbs or protein-boosted overnight oats, a lunch of chicken or fish accompanied by slow carbs and a variety of vegetables, and a dinner featuring grass-fed organic steak, a hearty salad, and whole grain rice.

To simplify the approach for those looking to emulate her diet, Magnus suggested a fist-based portion control method. For breakfast, one fistful of protein and half a fist of slow complex carbs were recommended; snacks would consist of a fistful of protein with half a fist of good fats or slow carbs. Lunch and dinner mirrored each other with a fistful of protein, a fistful of slow carbs, and two fistfuls of vegetables.

Importantly, Magnus encouraged flexibility within the diet, advocating for indulgences in moderation. He highlighted that enjoying life is essential and that having three out of twenty meals as treats can help maintain a healthy mindset. This approach allows individuals to avoid feelings of guilt or failure, making the diet more sustainable in the long term.

With this balanced perspective on nutrition, Gal Gadot not only achieved the physical demands of her role but also maintained a positive relationship with food. As fans prepare to see her embody Wonder Woman once more, the insights into her diet reveal the dedication and thoughtfulness behind her preparation.
