Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson are two peas in a pod. Being best friends in real life, the two never shy away from dissing each other and their personal lives in interviews and in public whenever they get the chance.
In a hilarious interview, Kevin Hart sat down with Logan Paul to talk about, well everything. From not caring for Prime (Logan Paul’s drink company) to competing with Dwayne Johnson’s tequila company, Teremana, Hart did not pull a punch.
Kevin Hart Doesn’t Shy Away From Competing With Dwayne Johnson
Being rivals on-screen and friends off-screen, Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson share quite an awesome bond in Hollywood. Teaming along for buddy-cop movies and constantly dissing Hart’s short stature, the two never leave an opportunity to throw shade at the other.

In an interview, Kevin Hart sat down for a chat with Logan Paul. When Prime, Paul’s drink company was put on the table, the comedian stated that he did not care whether someone drank it or not. Stating that the business has become too complicated, the Jumanji actor went on to talk about his own tequila company Gran Coramino, the actor stated that there was a mutual understanding between him and Dwayne Johnson, who is the founder of Teremana (his own tequila brand).
“Yeah, I was just so curious cause tequila is, you know, Dwayne [Johnson] has that space,” said Logan Paul.
Hart quickly replied affirmatively and praised The Rock for his business.
“He’s doing a very good job. Teremana is doing a very good job. DJ’s been around like top of 20. You have to have an understanding like, they’re not one and the same (Hart’s and Rock’s tequila companies). When you think about alcohol, how big is the world and how far is the outreach. if you throw your name on something then it’s a sh*tshow for you.”
The interview continued and Kevin Hart talked about how he did not want to just put his name onto something. He flew to the 11th-generation tequila maker Juan Domingo Beckmann and stated that he wanted to partner up with him.

As the interview progressed, the comedian talked about his side of the story and how his company Gran Coramino Tequila came to be. Stating that he found the best tequila maker, Hart revealed that he flew directly towards him to have him as his partner.
“I found the best partner that the tequila world could provide. Juan Domingo Beckmann, the biggest distributor, the guy comes from like the 11th generation of success. He has done so much. I flew to him [and said] ‘I wanna do this but I wanna do it correctly. I wanna partner with you’. It took me 4 years to develop my tequila”
With Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart both in the tequila business, it seems that they would often rant about each other’s companies and have a friendly competition to see who’s the best.
