Newlyweds Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie pictured together for first time since lavish French wedding... as the actress shows off intimate thigh tattoo

They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their Château Miraval estate in France last month.

And Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie looked every inch the loved-up newlyweds on Saturday as they took to the seas in Malta on board a luxury yacht with their whole brood in tow.

The couple have brought their six children along to help celebrate their honeymoon, squeezing in some quality time with their little ones in the midst of working on their new film project, By The Sea.

The A-listers might have been together since 2005, but there’s clearly no shortage of passion in their relationship and the pair were very affectionate with one another during their day out.

Angelina was clad in a sporty ensemble comprising a black vest top, running shorts and a baseball cap, while 50-year-old Brad was covered up in a dark T-shirt and board shorts.

At one point, the 39-year-old beauty reached up to give her new husband’s hair a tender ruffle as the pair stood looking out to sea from the stern of the boat.

Meanwhile, Angelina’s tiny shorts gave a rare glimpse of her inner thigh tattoo.

The inking – which she got in 2010 – is thought to read ‘Whiskey Bravo’, civil aviation code for ‘WB’, which are the initials of her partner, whose real name is William Bradley Pitt.

When quizzed about the tattoo at the time, the star simply said: ‘Um, it’s for Brad.’

The couple busied themselves taking photos of their kids Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox on board the boat and as they played in the sea.

The fun-loving gang naturally got stuck into several water sports, with the children having a go at tubing.

Their devoted parents got snap happy as the youngsters whizzed along at high speed on a giant octopus-shaped inflatable.

Brad and Angelina were taking a rare day off working on their new film By The Sea, which Angelina wrote the screenplay for and is also directing.

She and Brad will co-star in the drama – marking the first time they’ve worked together since famously meeting and falling in love on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith.

The pair will portray a married couple who take a vacation in a final attempt to save their relationship.
