Shaped like a spaceship, the plane named Sky Whale is capable of carrying up to 755 passengers

The plane is designed like a spaceship called Sky Whale, which can carry up to 755 passengers.

At first glance, the Sky Whale looks like a spaceship from a sci-fi movie, but this is a new idea for a future passenger plane. This design is called the AWWA Sky Whale, a passenger plane with huge dimensions, it is even bigger than the Airbus A380.

Sky Whale was designed by Oscar Vinals, a designer from Barcelona, according to Oscar, the Sky Whale is his idea for a future passenger plane, a “greener” plane. Oscar’s inspiration for this design was giant whales, an aircraft with up to three passenger decks and a wingspan of up to 88 meters.

According to the model published by Oscar, the Sky Whale will have a total of 755 seats, with three separate floors. But its extreme size is only part of the extraordinary things about the Sky Whale, the special design of this aircraft also helps to minimize air drag, reduce fuel consumption, noise and emissions. . According to Oscar, he combined the most modern technologies in the world today. Including self-repair technology when there is a breakdown.

But the most outstanding feature of the Sky Whale is probably the power and propulsion system of the aircraft. The Sky Whale is powered by a unique turbo-electric hybrid propulsion system, with four petrol-electric engines and can be rotated 45 degrees for easy take-off and landing.

On the roof of the aircraft are also mounted solar panels to provide electrical power for the aircraft and partly for the engine.

The fuselage is designed to be independent of the wings and engines, this special design is so that the fuselage can be separated in the event of an accident, helping to minimize loss of life.

“Designing the wings separately from the fuselage is a measure of increased safety. When the worst situation is that the plane has to make an emergency landing, the wings of the plane will separate from the fuselage to minimize the damage to the passenger compartment, “Oscar Vinals, said.
