In the relentless legal saga between Cardi B and Tasha K, the Grammy-winning rapper is now pointing fingers at the gossip vlogger, accusing her of maintaining undisclosed offshore accounts during the ongoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.

According to recently surfaced court documents, Cardi B’s legal team contends that Tasha K concealed offshore accounts in her initial bankruptcy filing. The rapper’s lawyers argue that both Tasha K and her husband, Cheickna Kebe, provided false information about the existence of offshore and domestic trusts established for them.

Cardi B’s attorneys assert that despite Tasha K and her husband’s sworn statements in depositions, claiming they possessed no savings accounts, IRAs, or trusts in their names or their children’s names, evidence suggests otherwise. The documents reveal the discovery of multiple undisclosed domestic and offshore trusts, with transactions involving at least one trust amounting to $30,000. Alleged trusts were reportedly located in the Cook Islands (New Zealand) and the Island of Nevis (St. Kitts), as well as in Georgia and Florida.

The legal team is now seeking information from a third party, identified as Patricia Haynes, believed to have knowledge about the alleged trusts. However, Ms. Haynes is reportedly evading the subpoenas deliberately. Cardi B’s lawyers are urging the court to compel her to respond.

Concealing assets during bankruptcy proceedings is a serious federal offense, and if proven intentional, it could lead to criminal fines and a federal prison sentence of up to five years for Tasha K.

The ongoing legal feud stems from a $4 million defamation lawsuit that Cardi B won against Tasha K in October 2022. The lawsuit was filed due to false and disparaging remarks made by Tasha K on her YouTube channel, causing emotional distress to Cardi B. Despite a momentary hint of forgiveness expressed by Cardi B in October 2023, the recent revelation of alleged concealed offshore accounts signals a renewed determination to recover the $4 million judgment.

As Cardi B intensifies her efforts to secure what she believes is rightfully hers, the legal battle between the two continues to unfold, with potential serious consequences for Tasha K should the allegations be substantiated.
