It was a ratchet happy birthday indeed.
Drake and French Montana turned all the way up to help fellow rapper Fat Joe celebrate his 49th birthday in Miami on Sunday night.
Around 9:30 p.m., the three artists hit the grand opening of David Grutman and David “Papi” Einhorn’s restaurant Papi Steak with Hublot celebrating French’s Haute Living cover, where they “spent the night drinking tequila cocktails and taking shots while enjoying an exclusive dinner,” an insider told Page Six.
At exactly midnight, we’re told Fat Joe was presented with a giant five-tiered birthday cake while his and French Montana’s song “All The Way Up” blasted in the background.
Guests danced and dropped low to the music and then Drizzy, French and the birthday boy took tequila shots together.
Also there was Mike Piazza, Michael Bay and graffiti artist Alec Monopoly.
We hear at around 1 a.m., Drake and French left the eatery and headed to megaclub Liv, where the two “hung out behind the DJ booth before both jumping on to perform a few songs,” including their hit “No Stylist.”
“The club went wild as they were performing,” said a source.
The pair partied and continued to drink at the club with a relatively small entourage — a mix of guys and gals — until making their exit around 4 a.m.
