The actress went bold and bright at the New York premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.’
Rachel Zegler looks like absolute royalty lately. The actress, who is best known for her breakout role in the 2021 adaptation of West Side Story, attended the New York screening of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes at the Metrograph on Nov. 15. She donned a gorgeous strapless cobalt blue suede midi gown from Givenchy, featuring a wide scoop neckline and corset-inspired bodice. The 22-year-old accessorized with sleek black pointed-toe heels from Aquazzura and statement jewelry pieces from Gray & Davis and Stephen Webster.
The prequel film, in which Zegler plays Lucy Gray Baird, a tribute from District 12, hosted its world premiere in Berlin on Nov. 5, and is now in theaters.
Hair guru David von Cannon left Zegler’s dark locks perfectly smooth and straight and half-pinned back with a sparkly blue butterfly brooch clip. Makeup artist Kale Teter opted for a bronzed glam moment, including feathered brows, deep gold shadow, sheer berry blush and a glossy pink stained lip.
The New Jersey native, who worked with stylist Sarah Slutsky, showed off her toned arms and slim figure as she posed on the red carpet alongside actor and boyfriend Josh Andrés Rivera, who plays Sejanus Plinth in the film.
“We made a movie. you can see it in theaters now.🩷,” Zegler captioned a sweet post. “And to my favorite scene partner, my life partner, my josh: i love you. thank you for each and every laugh upon our journey together.many people ask me what the most unexpected part of my career has been, or the most rewarding, or the greatest change. the answer is always you.”
