Jimmy Donaldson, who has over 240 million subscribers, is an YouTuber, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, popular by the name of MrBeast. One of the biggest name in the YouTube community, he released his chocolate and snack brand Feastables in 2022. Since then, the company has grown to become one of his biggest ventures with impressive turnouts.
Like any product, the Feastables chocolate has been marketed, and this is where the story gets interesting. The company shared a series of images last week, featuring MrBeast holding the Feastables choco bar, alongside his friends and fellow creators – Chandler Hallow, Nolan Hansen, and Karl Jacobs. Previously, Minecraft creator, George Davidson aka GeorgeNotFound, was also part of this series. But after recent allegations against him were made by Twitch streamer Caitibugzz, things took a turn.
MeBeast’s snack company decided to remove the creator out of the ad campaign for the choco bar. This has been met with divisive response from the audience. Where some think this was the right decision, and MrBeast is showing his accountability by removing GeorgeNotFound from the ad, some think that he should have been given the boot before he was proven guilty.
Both streamers have come up with their statements about the incident which led to the allegation against the Minecraft creator. And now Feastables have made their stance, albeit without any actual statement from the company on why Davidson was removed from the series.
What Are The Allegations Against GeorgeNotFound?
Earlier this month, Twitch streamer Caitibugzz hosted a broadcast titled my story for 30 long minutes. During the broadcast, she revealed an upsetting story from 2023, when a “significantly older and popular content creator” s*xually assaulted her. While she did not take names during the broadcast, people were quick to connect the dots and figure out that she was talking about GeorgeNotFound.
“We were playing a drinking game and talking about sex. And I admitted to everyone in the room that I was 18 and that I was a virgin, at the time.” She further added, “It was a little after that when I resorted to playing games on my phone when it happened. Out of nowhere, I felt him slip his hand under my clothes, sitting next to me on the couch, in front of everyone. He disguised it with a simple, ‘Are you ticklish?’”
“I actually did not know how old she was, despite her claiming that I did just because it was in her bio. And it was clear to anyone there that she was not uncomfortable with sitting next to me there, cuddling together.”
“We had been cuddling for I’d say about an hour at this point, playing the game, talking, and just having fun. For clarity, I had my hand inahand on her waist, above her clothes.”
Caitibugzz did not stay quiet, and said that her being drunk should have been enough for him to back off, and not get close to her that night. Davidson, in his latest statement apologized to the Twitch streamer, saying:
“I have much more I will say, but for now, Caiti I am sorry. I am so sorry. I really hope you can hear my words and try to understand that I did not have any bad intentions. That does not change the fact that you were hurt. I will be saying more soon.”
We are yet to see where this story goes next, and what Caitibuzz’s next step will be regarding the matter, who went on a week-long hiatus after her last statement.
