She has been hopping between luxurious homes over the last few years, and was last thought to be residing in a $100,000 per month property in Coldwater Canyon.
But it seems Mariah Carey has decided to downsize, as she has reportedly moved into a sprawling 8-bedroom pad nearby for a cool $35,000 (£25,300) per month.
The singer, 48, is currently renting a luxury 10,337 square foot mansion in Beverly Hills – previously rented by Nicki Minaj, and complete with a grand staircase, swimming pool and roof terrace.
The stunning Mediterranean-style house comes with eight bedrooms, as well as four full and four half bathrooms, and overlooks the city.
The pad, which sits on over one acre of land, features a huge swimming pool, plunge pool and spa outside, surrounded by rolling lawns and woodland.
Meanwhile the house itself has a minimalist style – featuring a neutral colour scheme, sleek marble and wooden flooring and arched loggias, to let in plenty of the Californian sunshine.
Both living rooms come with a traditional fireplace for cosy winter nights, while a huge library sits alongside them to provide space for Mariah to relax and write music.
The kitchen is simply chic with shimmering metal appliances and sleek white cupboards, while the main bathroom features a luxurious stand alone bath, in front of a huge window to take in the stunning view while residents relax.
There is also a huge roof terrace, to provide even more outdoor space for guests, as well as a driveway big enough for multiple large vehicles.
The property, which has been owned by a Saudi royal since 2011, was previously rented by rapper Nicki Minaj, and was last available at $35,000 a month.
Mariah was previously thought to be living in a sprawling nine bedroom and 10-bathroom Beverly Hills estate, for a whopping $100,000 per month.
The property was fully equipped with a home cinema, games room with a pool table, two-lane bowling alley, swimming pool and tennis court, as well as gourmet kitchen fitted with top end stainless steel appliances and marble counter tops.
She previously shared an opulent 18,000 sq ft property in Calabasas with her ex-fiancé James Packer, complete with elevator, wine cellar and tasting room, personal gym, dry sauna and an acre of land.
The couple broke off their engagement in October, and Mariah has since moved on with her 34-year-old backing dancer and choreographer, Bryan Tanaka.
The muscular Washington native has been working with the singer as a backup dancer since her Adventures of Mimi tour in 2006.
She also shares six-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, with her ex-husband Nick Cannon, who she separated from in 2014 after seven years of romance.
Speaking to People magazine last month, Nick admitted the pair love each other ‘unconditionally’ despite their break-up, and want their children to see that.
He said: ‘It’s funny when they say “co-parenting” – that phrase is a little redundant. You can’t co-parent, you have to parent, and that’s what we do well because when it comes to our children, we’re selfless individuals – they’re first.
‘You’re reminded that it’s all about unconditional love and they’ve got to understand that to its core. Whenever we can show that – even if we’re not together, [that] we love each other unconditionally – and become that fine example to our children, they’ll grow up to be good human beings, hopefully.’
