Sweet moment between Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet’s daughter caught on camera after Japanese Grand Prix victory

Victory was sweet for Max Verstappen, who marked his 2024 Formula One Japanese Grand Prix win in a cute moment with partner Kelly Piquet’s daughter.

The Red Bull driver, who came out on top at Suzuka Circuit yesterday, was caught on camera celebrating his 26 points with Penelope Piquet in parc fermé.

In the footage, shared by Kelly to her Instagram Story overnight, Verstappen can be seen walking up to the barrier, which Penelope is standing behind.

Kelly is shown holding Penelope up to Verstappen, who immediately hugs and kisses the four-year-old before reaching over her to kiss the 35-year-old model.

The event marked Verstappen’s first victory since his shock loss in March at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, which Kelly and Penelope also attended.

Days after the race, Kelly took to Instagram to share some happy snaps from the trio’s time Down Under, writing: “Best few days in the land down under with my mini 🇦🇺🦘 Melbourne I had so much fun!!!”

“And to see it through P’s eyes… First time in Australia and already looking forward to being back again to explore some more ❤️,” she wrote.

In the photos, Kelly can be seen posing with Penelope at some of Melbourne’s best-known tourist sites, including its graffiti art-adorned lanes.

Penelope and Kelly also posed with a koala, and Penelope was seen feeding wallabies at a zoo before watching the race grid-side.
