Tyson Fury ‘still concussed’ and ‘gaslighting’ after revealing two Oleksandr Usyk injuries

Tyson Fury has claimed he deserved to beat Oleksandr Usyk during their recent fight in Saudi Arabia, while also claiming the Ukrainian has a ‘broken jaw’ and a ‘broken eye socket’.

But boxing fans believe he is ‘still concussed’ after those comments, with some even accusing the 35-year-old of ‘gaslighting’ supporters.

Fury and Usyk recently put on a stellar show in Riyadh, with both men operating at the peak of their powers during the bout.

Usyk ended up winning on points, with the 37-year-old wobbling Fury in the ninth round – leaving the world reeling in the process.

Fury, speaking on Friday, said he deserved to win.

He also claimed Usyk was currently nursing two injuries, saying: “Get yourself well – I hear he’s got a broken jaw and broken eye socket – and I’ll see you in December for a Christmas extravaganza in Saudi Arabia. Get up!”

But boxing fans aren’t having it, with many believing Fury is simply making the wounds up.

“Damn, Usyks punches really took a toll on Fury. Dudes still concussed,” were the words of one user.

“Why can’t he just admit he lost fair and square?” said a second.

A third stated: “He’s probably gaslighted himself into believing he broke Usyk’s jaw lol.”

Another opined: “Tyson just making s**t up to make it sound like he battered Usyk lol.”

A fifth stated: “Looked superb in spells but he struggles like a lot of heavyweights to box at a high pace. Usyk is one of a kind for me. No shame in losing to him at all.”

“Bro Usyk was robbed of the knockout. Fury was never close to getting one. What is he on,” fumed a sixth.

And a seventh said: “Tyson sounds defeated, the aura has gone.”

Fury says he was his own worst enemy in Saudi, admitting he was having too much ‘fun’ before suffering the first defeat of his professional career.

He sounds as confident as ever in his own ability, however, even if many feel he has his work cut out.

“I’ve watched the fight back lots of times. Still got the same answer – I thought I won the fight and thought I’d done enough. Usyk knows that he didn’t beat me,” the Gypsy King told FUROCITY.

“It was close enough. One judge had me winning by a round and one of them had him winning by a round and that was the final decision.

“I thought I boxed the head right off him for most of the rounds.
