Tyson Fury knows how to beat Oleksandr Usyk

Tyson Fury affirms that he must knock out Oleksandr Usyk in the upcoming rematch.

Tyson Fury insists that he must knock out Oleksandr Usyk in his upcoming rematch because the judges will never side with him.

Fury lost by split decision on May 18 with two judges scoring it 115-112 and 114-113 in favor of Usyk, while the third judge scored it 114-113 in favor of Fury. Usyk won the WBC title to become the absolute heavyweight champion of the world, but the “Gypsy King” always maintained that he won the fight.

A rematch has been scheduled for December 21 in Saudi Arabia and Fury has spoken about the first fight, insisting he should have won last month and blaming his enjoyment for the defeat.

“I had to knock him out, because I wasn’t going to get the decision, which was a shame, because winning a fight is hard enough, let alone knowing you have to knock someone out, but I confident and I’m looking forward to the challenge,” he told Furosity on YouTube.

He continued to send words of encouragement to his opponent. “Recover well – I heard he has a broken jaw and eye socket, so recover well and I’ll see you in December for a Christmas festival in Saudi Arabia.”

Fury has rewatched the fight many times and still maintains that he is the true heavyweight champion.

“The Usyk fight was actually a lot easier than I thought, a lot easier. Everyone says he’s hard to hit, but I was hitting him with three- and four-punch combos, laughing at him. My problem in that fight was probably that I was having too much fun, it was too easy.”

Fury also shared more about how the match went: “I think I beat him in most rounds. Apparently he threw a good punch in round eight and broke my nose. In round nine, he had a 10-8 round, so two rounds and I gave him another 10 but other than that, I didn’t give him many other rounds. I gave him four rounds in the fight.”

With determination and confidence, Fury is ready for the rematch this December, promising to be a fiery and dramatic fight.
