Cody Rhodes is currently involved in a high-octane feud against The Bloodline. However, the heel stable has had the edge over The American Nightmare in this rivalry so far. Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline continued its dominant run at Money in the Bank, defeating Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton in a six-man tag match.
The closing moments of the match saw Solo pin Rhodes to pick up a win for his faction. Given how things unfolded, it seems WWE is planning to pit the duo in a title match at SummerSlam. However, Rhodes can’t take on The Bloodline on his own. Hence, The American Nightmare needs to form his own faction. Cody needs to team up with Paul Heyman, The Usos, and Zilla Fatu for the following reasons:
Cody Rhodes needs a mastermind like Paul Heyman
Paul Heyman has been The Wiseman of The Bloodline since its inception. The veteran has seen Solo Sikoa’s growth right from the beginning. Heyman knows Solo more than anyone else and has seen his methods and tactics up close. Hence, he could be a vital asset for Cody Rhodes.
Aside from that, Paul Heyman is arguably wrestling’s greatest mind, and having a master strategist like Heyman by his side could prove beneficial for Cody Rhodes in his potential war against Solo. The WWE Hall of Famer could help Rhodes build a formidable team to take on The Bloodline.
Zilla Fatu, The Enforcer
Much like Solo Sikoa was to Roman Reigns, the former Big Dog’s cousin and son of late great Umaga, Zilla Fatu could be The Enforcer of Cody Rhodes’ faction.
Zilla recently teased his involvement in The Bloodline civil war on social media. Given that, his potential WWE debut may not be too far off. Aside from that, the Samoan also showed respect to Roman Reigns, which could arguably mean that he has picked The Tribal Chief’s side in The Bloodline family war.
If that is indeed the case, Paul Heyman could play a key role in recruiting the Samoan as The Enforcer of Rhodes’ faction. Zilla could join forces with Cody as his muscle until the return of Roman Reigns.
The Usos reunion

Aside from Zilla, The Usos could be vital cogs of Cody Rhodes’ faction. Fans must be aware that Jimmy Uso was kicked out of The Bloodline by Solo Sikoa. Hence, he must join Cody Rhodes to exact revenge on Solo Sikoa for his humiliation.
Talking about Jey Uso, the younger Uce has always had Rhodes’ back in WWE. Given his close bond with Cody, plus the fact that he has some unfinished business with The Bloodline, Jey needs to join forces with The American Nightmare to help him take down the heel stable on SmackDown.
While Main Event Jey is currently not on the same page as his brother Jimmy, Cody could cupid between the twin brothers, leading to their reunion. The twin brothers could go to war with the Tongan brothers, while Cody and Zilla focus on Solo and Jacob, respectively.
