So, I just wanted to take a little time out to do a video, you know, because I’m sure y’all are fully aware of everything that has transpired from the videos that L. A. posted about, you know, regarding him not being on the tour.
I just wanted to come and address it directly, because I know how much chatter has been going around online, and I know how easy it is for a story to get twisted when only one side is being told.
Just wanted to say, I really, really don’t make videos to respond to stuff like this. That’s just not how I move. I feel like this is a personal matter, and it should have been kept between our family circle.
It’s something that should have been handled behind closed doors, between brothers, between family, without the whole world watching. But, you know, since it was brought in front of y’all, since it was put out there for everybody to see and comment on, I’m going to respond so that you all have both sides of the story. Because I think it’s only fair that you hear where I’m coming from, and where the rest of us stand on this whole situation.
And, bro, we had an agreement with you. We told you, we even told you, “If you go to rehab, while you’re still in rehab, we will still pay you while you’re getting yourself together.” We told you that.
That was the deal. That was the offer that was laid out on the table for you. You refused.
So, no, we didn’t just leave you out in the cold, bro. That’s not what happened at all. We didn’t turn our backs on you.
We didn’t abandon you. We told you what it was, and we told you that we still had your money waiting for you. The money was there.
The support was there. The understanding was there. All we asked was for you to take that step, to get yourself right, to get yourself together, and we were going to hold your spot down while you did it.

So, I don’t know what the deal is, bro. I really don’t. Instead of going here on all on the internet, instead of posting videos and putting all this out in the open, instead of airing all this out for the world to dissect and take sides on, you need to just bring your ass on tour, because it’s not that serious.
It’s really not that serious. This whole situation has gotten blown way out of proportion, and it didn’t have to be like this at all. We could have handled this like men, like brothers, like family.
But instead, it’s become this whole public thing, and for what?
What’s really crazy to me is, bro, what’s really crazy to me is is we out on this tour with Wu-Tang. It’s one of the biggest tours. This tour is crazy.
The energy, the fans is crazy. The setting is crazy, the vibe is crazy. Every night, the crowd is packed, they’re loud, they’re locked in, they know every word, they bring so much energy that it’s hard not to feed off of it.
It’s one of those moments in a career where you step back and you realize how special this is, how rare this is, how this is the kind of tour that people talk about for years after it’s done. And when I look at the Wu-Tang show, and I see all the members there, there’s a lot of nig- There’ll be a lot of on stage. There’s a lot of them up there, a whole lot of them.
But all of them made it on stage. Every single one of them found a way to be present, to show up, to hold down their position. Rest in peace, ODB, but his young son is stepping in to represent and make sure his presence is full.
He’s out there carrying that energy, making sure that legacy stays alive, making sure that void is felt but also filled in a way that honors his father. They even feel that void. They found a way to fill that void, to keep that spirit alive, to make sure that the show goes on no matter what.
We only got five members, bro. Five members. That’s it.
That’s all we got. Five members, and we can’t pull it together? We can’t get five people to show up and do what we’ve been doing our whole lives?
We can’t get five brothers to stand side by side on one of the biggest stages in hip-hop? That’s what I don’t understand. That’s what really gets me.
Because I’m always at the shows. I’m there every night. Only time I’m not is when I was down or when I’m sick or if it’s a family emergency.
Those are the only reasons. I don’t miss shows for no other reason. I don’t miss shows because I’m upset about something petty.
I don’t miss shows because I’m beefing with somebody. I don’t miss shows because I feel some kind of way about a conversation that was had. I show up.
Period. And I give I let everybody know. I let my brothers know I’m not going to make this show.
I communicate. I don’t leave anybody guessing. I don’t leave fans wondering where I’m at.
I don’t leave the group hanging. I pick up the phone, I let my brothers know what’s going on, I let them know I’m not going to make this show. You feel me?
That’s how you handle business. That’s how you handle family. That’s how you show respect.
So, that’s all I’m saying, man. That’s really all I’m saying. If dudes really wanted to be here on this tour knowing how big it is, you would be here.
Nothing or nobody is stopping you. Nobody is holding you back. Nobody is keeping you away.
The door is open. The spot is there. The money is waiting.
All you have to do is show up. All you have to do is be there. That’s it.
That’s the whole thing. And I hope that after all this, we can get back to what really matters, which is the music, which is the fans, which is the legacy that we built together. Because at the end of the day, that’s what’s going to last.
That’s what’s going to matter. Everything else is just noise.
