Take the beach to the yacht! OUTRAGEOUS 393ft megayacht comes with an expanding lower deck to ‘connect you with the ocean’ and below-deck garage for the helicopter

For billionaires, when it comes to boats – bigger is better.

Complete with a gym, sauna and a helicopter this 393 foot luxury megayacht comes with its own beach club

The oceangoing super-rich are in a perpetual state of one-upmanship with their fancy vessels – and it’s this mindset that sparked Project Indah, a boat that according to its designer ‘has been created to meet the growing demand for megayachts over 100 metres’. She actually measures 120 metres (393ft) – which would put her in the top 30 lengthiest superyachts in the world – and she has a lengthy list of features to match, one of the most notable being a patented fold-out ‘beach club’.

Florida-based Opalinski Design House, the firm behind the boat design and creator of the concept, explains that while at anchor, the transom bulkheads (the sides of the boat at the stern) rotate outwards, revealing additional deck space that nearly doubles the size of the conventional swim platform.

It adds: ‘When the beach club transom is fully deployed it allows for accessing the water and unobstructed views from much larger deck space. In this configuration tenders remain out of sight but readily accessible when required.’

Other features include a gym and sauna behind tinted glass with views aft, a private owners’ suite with dedicated aft deck balcony and a foredeck hot tub with sunbeds and retractable sunshade. And like any self-respecting floating state-of-the-art hotel, it has a helicopter landing pad, with the option to install a below-deck helicopter garage.

Another key part of a floating swank-pad set-up is the ability to zoom from port to port to show off, something Indah, which means ‘beautiful’ in Indonesian, will be able to accomplish with ease, should she be built, thanks to a 24-knot (27mph) maximum speed.

Opalinski Design House says: ‘While the yachting industry is constantly improving in every way possible, we notice there is a need for a vessel, that introduces progressive design, “state-of-the-art” technology and innovative features. All the while maintaining real connection with the sea, emphasizing the unspoken tradition, mightiness and romance associated with a true oceangoing vessel. This yacht utilizes proven design template, at the same time pushing the boundaries of what is possible.’

Indah is a concept at present. If you’re interested in buying a real-life version, you can learn more by contacting Opalinski Design House.
