Dre and Snoop Tease “Missionary” With Fresh Track “Outta Da Blue”

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are back with “Outta Da Blue,” the latest single from their highly anticipated “Missionary” album, proving their legendary partnership is still a force to be reckoned with.

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have officially released “Outta Da Blue,” the second single from their upcoming album, “Missionary”. The track, which unofficially made rounds online last month, features a guest appearance from young singer/songwriter Alus.

Produced by Dre alongside Dem Jointz, BoogzDaBeast, and FNZ, “Outta Da Blue” follows “Missionary” ’s first single, “Gorgeous,” featuring Jhené Aiko. Both tracks offer fans a taste of what is to come in the sequel to Doggystyle, dropping 31 years after the iconic 1993 album.

In addition to Alus and Aiko, the album boasts an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Eminem, 50 Cent, Jelly Roll, Method Man, Sting, and even the late Tom Petty.

“Outta Da Blue” is the follow-up to “Missionary” ’s first single, “Gorgeous,” featuring Jhené Aiko, and both are teasing fans for what’s shaping up to be an unforgettable album. Among the most buzzworthy highlights? Eminem and 50 Cent will appear together on a track titled “Gunz N Smoke,” produced by Dr. Dre himself.

The album, a sequel to Snoop’s iconic Doggystyle, drops 31 years after the original, bringing an all-star lineup of collaborators, including Method Man, Jelly Roll, Sting, and even the late Tom Petty.

Previously, in a chat with ET, Dr. Dre talked about working “Missionary” and warned that this is not a nostalgia trip:

This one’s gonna show a different level of maturity with his lyrics and with my music. I feel like this is some of the best music I’ve done in my career. I’m not playing.

And if you’re wondering about Snoop’s enthusiasm, he’s right there with Dre. Add Eminem and 50 Cent into the mix, and “Missionary” is shaping up to be the reunion fans begged for way too long. Until then, “Outta Da Blue” is here to keep the hype alive.
