Snoop Dogg is surprisingly sensible with his investments.
When it comes to real estate, he keeps it simple, owning just one home.
And it’s the same house he bought back in 1998.
At the time it cost him just $700,000, and the property has more than doubled in value since then.
It’s rare for a rapper to spend as little as Snoop did on his home.
Jay Z recently splashed out on a mansion that cost him $200 million, while Drake’s palatial home set him back $100 million.
But Snoop spent just $700,000, which is a drop in the ocean of his $160 million net worth.
He bought a six-bedroom home in the aptly-named area of Diamond Bar, California.
The 4,000-square-foot house stretches over 2.8 acres of land and is situated in a private gated community.
It’s decorated in classic 90s regal style, with ornate wooden furniture, checkerboard tiles and grand columns.
While this is a family home, Snoop couldn’t resist adding a few touches worthy of a hip-hop legend.
Outside there’s a massive pool, a tennis court, and a luxurious hot tub.
There’s also a bungalow where Snoop can sit and enjoy 180-degree views of the Diamond Bar Hills.
Inside the ceilings are a generous 10 feet high, which is just as well seeing as Snoop is 6’4.
His kitchen features a Sub-Zero fridge, a monstrously large appliance worth around $16,000.
And then of course there’s his garage, which houses the 14 cars he owns.
The most expensive car in his fleet is his Phantom VII which he paid over $343,000 for.
Snoop’s home is worth more than double what it was when he first bought it, with a value of $1.7 million.
