Seems like the listening party for Eminem’s new album wasn’t all just about Marshall Mathers’ new work. Mr. Porter, a legend in his own right, just dropped a surprise on social media: a snippet of a jam session that erupted on the margins of the main event.
Remember that intimate gathering where Em premiered his upcoming release with Dr. Dre and a crew of hip hop legends? Looks like these mavericks couldn’t resist creating some magic of their own.
Mr. Porter shared a short clip on social media featuring Ez Mil showcasing his skills on the acoustic guitar. And it gets better – the video hints at a full-blown jam session with beatboxing and a bass line joining the mix.
Mr. Porter playfully feigned surprise in the caption: “What you doing with that guitar @ezekielmiller” – knowing full well Ez Mil started his career with guitar-driven music.
Could this jam session spark something new? Will the magic from that night make it onto a future project? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure – the creative energy coming out of the Shady Records camp is undeniable.
