Teresa Giudice Asked Taylor Swift ‘Do You Know Who I Am?’ Before Taking Coachella Photo Together

Giudice gushed about Swift’s “sweet” and humble nature during the annual music festival

Teresa Giudice is sharing how her iconic selfie with Taylor Swift came to be.

On April 14, Swift posed for a photo with the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 51, at the Coachella music festival and her husband Luis “Louie” Ruelas was the mastermind behind the shot.

“Two absolute QUEENS, Taylor Swift and my stunning wife,” he captioned the photo, adding a selection of hashtags, including: “#GirlPower,” “#Queens,” “#Blessed” and “#Coachella.”

In the photo, Swift could be seen rocking a dark jacket and a green backwards cap covering her bangs, as Giudice wore a pink ensemble featuring a glittery cowboy hat and knitted cardigan. At the time, Giudice’s costar Jennifer Aydin commented underneath the post: “OK- I finally jealous of something!!”

“I didn’t want to ask her for a photo because I didn’t want to bother her,” Giudice confessed to E! News, sharing how Ruelas was the one who pushed her to go up to the “Fortnight” singer. “Jennifer Aydin, on my show, she loves her. I’m like, ‘Alright, I’m doing this for Jennifer Aydin.’”

The Bravolebrity recalled asking Swift, “Do you know who I am?” after getting her attention in the crowd. To her delight, the artist knew who she was and posed for a photo.

“I’m all about that,” Giudice said of Swift’s “sweet” and humble nature. “Listen, we should all be amazing to each other, lift each other up. She touched my heart. There are some people that I have met — I’m not going to say who — that act like who they are and I love that [Swift] was so down to earth.”

Swift attended Coachella’s weekend one event with boyfriend Travis Kelce. The pair linked up with friends Sabrina Carpenter, Barry Keoghan and Ice Spice during the annual music and arts festival in Indio, California.

Swift and Kelce, 34, were spotted dancing together and sharing a smooch while Bleachers — a project fronted by her friend and collaborator Jack Antonoff — took the stage.

In a video posted on TikTok by actress Sissy Sheridan, the musician could also be seen chatting it up with Kelce and others as they waited for Ice Spice, 24, to start her set on April 13. They also danced in the crowd during Dom Dolla’s set that same night.
